Hello spring and happy Easter
Right before the Easter holidays the children in 3rd and 4th grade started a carousel activity at the afternoon.
In the beginning they watched a picture together and activated their vocabulary knowledge with flashcards. After this the teacher explained the different stations and let the kids form groups of 3 to 4 pupils. The children started with their work and had fun, solving a crossword, learning a Easter poem or writing a funny Easter story by themselves.
After the holidays the project will end with some more time for the carousel activity and then the pupils have the opportunity to read their story and to perform the Easter poem in front of the class.

Hallo Frühling und Frohe Ostern!
Vor den Osterferien begannen die SchülerInnen der 3. Und 4. Klasse einen Stationenbetrieb im Freifach Englisch am Nachmittag.
Gestartet wurde mit der Aktivierung ihres Vorwissen mithilfe eines Wimmelbildes und Bild- sowie Wortkarten. Danach erklärte die Lehrerin die einzelnen Stationen und ließ die Kinder Gruppen von drei bis 4 Kindern bilden. Dann ging es los und die Kinder arbeiteten mit viel Spaß an den Stationen: Sie lösten ein Kreuzworträtsel, lernten ein Oster-Gedicht und würfelten eine eigene lustige Ostergeschichte.
Nach den Ferien wird das Projekt fortgesetzt und die Kinder haben die Möglichkeit, ihre Geschichte und das Gedicht vorzutragen.
